Hi, can anyone tel me how to move a digital ext number to a analogue ext number and vice-versa on a Mitel SX2000 system? Is there anywhere I can download a system user guide that shows how to do basic every day system duties such as moving phones, re-naming etc.

Many Thanks for any help.

Andy

You can only "move" extensions that are of the same type. You will have to delete the analog ext., change the digital's ext. number, and then re-program the analog port.

You don't have to delete the analog extension for that.
First you change the number of the analog extension with an unused number.
Second you change the number of the digital extension with the number that was at analog extension at the begining.
Thirth you change the number of the analog extension with the number that was at the digital extension at the begining.
The command (in maintenance mode)for change an extension number :
MOV REN xxxx to yyyy
where xxxx means the old number and yyyy means the new number.
The command (also in maintenance mode) with you can verify that a number is not assigned is :
LOC NUM zzzz
where zzzz is the number.

I have a Mitel SX2000 redundant. From the commnad line I mistakenly typed lld. The command shuts down the plane where the command was issued. The on line help states it lets you get to low debugging of the system. The B plane is dead not lights etc? The command is not listed in the Edocs. How you recover form this command. From the panel I forze the plane switch.
