I have a Mitel SX-50 where there is one extention that the message light does not turn off (ext 150) I have tried clearing properties on the phone by dialing 444 on it and of course it does not do anything if i turn it on or off on the main counsol. I guess i just have no idea why this does it. I just figure that this is causing extra wear on the phone system since it is always going.
The counsol does not recognise that it is blinking... any ideas?

From the telephone, dial 66.
That's the default cancel message waiting code.

right - possible some other station inadvertently turned on the MW light. With the Mitel if more than one location turns the light on then they all have to turn it off as well before the light will go out.
