Is it necessary to have the LCD Console for the Hotel feature? What if I us a 5340 sub. There Property Managment already is checking in the people. Thanks

There are some restriction for the Sub. Check that out to make sure you can performe same functions.

One drawback to not having a "Console" on site is that if, for some reason, you can't access programming remotely, you will not be able to walk anybody through any programming. With that in mind regarding walking someone through programming on site - make sure your passwords are all numeric as the console can't generate alpha characters.

The 5340 is what you HAVE to use on a cx or cxi controller, since they won't support digital phones.
Other than the programing ability Dane mentioned, you'll not lose any features.
