We had some severe weather today and a lightening strike on the building next to our hotel. The main console acted nutty for about 15-20 minutes. Everything flashing and bells going off. Then it started buzzing and the letters f and g scrolled. It then cleared on its own. About 8pm it started all over again. I reset the system with no luck, then powered it down for 15 mins, no luck. The alarm code flashed 1. It is now working ok. Alarm, code #1 ,calls for a new generic module. Do you think that is the problem? where would you start?

I'd start with getting a good copy of the database.
Then I'd re-initialize the software, re-program the system, then hope for the best!

What fifty5footer said! And don't try to save to disc and reload, which is possible, according to the manual. (I've never been successful trying it.) Why, you say? You'll download the glitches and the upload will either fail because the gitches are detected, or you'll load them right back into the system. So, you are either wasting time or you're wasting time AND re-hosing the system! John C. (Not Garand)
