Call on hold timer
If we put a call on hold and do not pick it back up after 30 seconds it rings, and rings and rings.
We want to change it to 60 seconds , however when I change the Call on hold timer in the COS. SAVE it reboot the Mitel.
No joy at all,,, still 30 seconds and it rings back, can't see what I'm missing.

Which COS did you make the change to? The trunk or the station? If it was the station and you don't have Use Called Party Call Hold Timer set to yes, it will use the trunks value, or just change the timer in the trunks COS. No need for a reboot.

Is this a digital, analog or console phone? If it is an analog, how are you putting the caller on hold?

From the Knowledge Base
When using the call hold recall functionality, the originating class of service will dictate when the call hold recall timer will kick in. For example an inbound trunk call will always assume the trunk class of service and all timers which belong to it.
However, if the COS option “Use Called Party Hold Timer†is set to Yes, then the terminating (Called) party’s Call Hold Timer will dictate when the call hold timer will kick in.
So it should be working… double check COS.
Does it also recall after 30 sec on a station to station call?
