Could anyone tell me it there is any difference, other that layout and button count, for between the Mitel 5212, 5215, 5220 and 5224?

The major difference will be in accessing functions via superkey if I'm not mistaken. The 5220 and 5224 will provide easier user function access.

5212 and 5215 are half duplex speaker phone

There are also differences in features that can be used. For example, I recently found that the -12 models cannot originate an off-hook voice announce to another phone. There's a chart in the ICP documentation that shows features, by phone type.
