Did a quick search but couldn't find anything. Is there a setting for a hotline to receive a disconnect or fast busy or silence after the call to the console has completed? Our client had a single line phone in place and we swapped out for a Viking push button call box. The circuit rings the console, is answered, console hangs up, circuit stays active for 1-2 seconds then starts ringing the console again ad-nauseum. I've never seen a ringdown work this way including other Mitel models. I know I can use a dialer style Viking unit but....

that should be a setting in the Viking phone, it's staying off hook after the first call, don't know of any way to clear it from the Mitel

I don't know what model of "call box" you have but many of them have a time out option so that the operator after talking with them could put the call on hold and when the timer makes it go back on hook the call would drop.

As well, many have a DTMF shut-off capability. Console hits 'Tones', dials the appropriate digit and 'CLICK'.

It looks like I may have it dealt with. The Mitel supplier has figured out how to send dial tone on completion of the call. I can work with that.
