Hi, Our hotel has a mitel sx-50 phone system. Couple days ago someone cut the phone lines and our phones didnt work for couple hours. At&T fixed the lines but our phone still did not work. The technitian recomended to turn off the phone system and turn it on, and it worked. However, the room's phone did not worked. Then, I turned off &on the HP advance stack HPJ2601B wich is the machine that connect the phone system to the rooms. After that half of the room phones work but some dont. 8 rooms that are in line dont work. Is there something I can do to fix it? I played with the power and one of phone from those rooms started to work but then it died again. I will really appreciate if someone can help me with this Thank you
Anna

The best thing that you can do at this point is to call a local Mitel dealer who supports the SX-50. He will be able to tell you if you have additional wiring damage (very likely) or perhaps if the phone system might have lost some of its programming due to you turning the power off and on again (for example, if the battery on the motherboard was dead).
Calling a technician will probably have you up and working within a day or two; trying to trace this problem yourself, or using advice from the internet, will probably take weeks, and may still not work.
