I want to be able to only dial the 7 digit phone number instead of dialing the area code for local calls. The system I have is a Axxess version 11.010

If you are required to dial 10 digits then you must have more than 1 AC that can be a local call. Then how is the system supposed to know what AC is needed? You could make the system insert the AC through ARS programming but that would only work for 1 AC and others would have to dial the 10 digits.

You should try asking this question in the Inter-Tel system topic discussion.
