The trunk card has all the lights lit and the alarm is constantly ringing like when you start the system up after turning it off. The console shows nothing. Is my problem the Trunk card ,the software card or something else?
This has happened once before and just restarting the system fixed it but this time no luck.

Disconnect the cable on the front of the card, and see if the lights go out. If yes, you've got trunk problems, if no, it's a system problem! If it's a system problem, reconnect the cable. Dial *32 then release, from the console to clear all busy out conditions.

Does anything else work? Can extensions call each other? If the answer are both NO, you've probably lost most or all of the programming. Did you have a power outage of more than a minute or so? If so, you ooolllddd memory support battery probably failed! That means your programming is trash and you are going to need knowledgeable help to confirm, initialize, and reprogram. AND CHANGE THAT BATTERY FIRST!
