Okay so my hotel has a Mitel Superconsole 1000...one of those old ones ya know...I have the user guide and everything but can not for the life of me figure out how to change to phone number for Night 1 or 2. My user guides states

"press function
press att function
press more...
press flex night
enter trunk number
press either Night 1 or Night 2
Dial the destination number of the night answer point
press set or exit"

now I can do all this except when i enter the trunk number it just freezes, now maybe i am miss understanding what the trunk number is..i dont know but my hotel is saying it is too expensive to have the tech come out and fix it so I am hoping someone can give me some type of advice.

Thanks in Advance

Are you sure that's the Switching to Day/Night Service function that is in my book for the Mitel SuperConsole 1000---page 9. Better look again to see if you have the right documentation for what system you have. I'm looking at a PDF file (not the book that I generally use) so I may be wrong about that. Whatever Fred said in his PM to you would be the correct information.

The real question is: Why was it in Night Mode? When the system is shut down it comes up in Night Mode. Why was it shut down?? Power outage?? Do you have the system on a UPS? Do the batteries in the UPS need to be changed?

A quick service call from your Mitel tech might save you alot more money if you are overlooking something. Penny wise---pound foolish. Perhaps some training would be a good thing, too. Hope everything works out.
