Has anybody tried to use a IPocket for remote maintence to a 200 Icp serial port

No, why would you? If you are given a static public ip address to use, just connect it to the ICP. If the ICP is on an internal network and you don't want to use the WAN port, get a cheap router which is less expensive than an Ipocket. The old standby alternative is a modem.

I bench tested using a troy serial server, procomm plus and lantronix com port redirector software. So it should be possible to use an iPocket232

sorry thought you were using an ICP based on your post.

Setup the ipocket serial port as a transparent sever @ the baud rate of the switch
local port 60001
ethernet static public ip ex 64.168.23.2
sub 255.255.255.0
gateway 64.168.23.1

then set passwords to ipocket without p/w won,t
work

then you can telnet into switch

64.168.23.2:60001

i have these set up on 200d,200light 200icp 200el
best to setup at office to test
then onsite you should only have to set up ip address

also you will need a null adapter 9 pin to go beteen ipoc and switch
