Hello Everyone,
Recently I started getting complaints from multiple users about no message light we they receive voicemails from the Nupoint system. Today a user gets a message the light comes on, when checking he is notified that he has messages from Wednesday of last week. What are the troubleshooting steps to solve this riddle?

Do you know how your nupoint is integrated to the 330O? Sip, T-1, DNIC - knowing the integration would help to pinpoint the troubleshooting steps.

Check how many NuPoint ports are configured for notification. Reset those ports on the NuPoint and on the PBX. Odds are that one port, dedicated for messages, has locked up. Rebooting the NPM will also probably clear the error, but current message settings may be lost.
I usually try to configure two or more ports on active-voice VMs for message notification -- not sure if NPM allows that -- I'll have to fire mine up and check it out. But it should.

This is a setting in the FCOS or LCOS i had this problem a few months ago
