Yesterday a customer notified me that their wake-up calls were not working and had not been for a few weeks. (Rather important to them wasn't it!) I checked the normal things (time set incorrectly, ring generator problems, glitches in system programming) and found no troubles, but sure enough, when you set the alarm call the system does nothing to set off the alarm. Any ideas? I'm just making the bald spot on the back of my head larger!

Reboot, COS, and just for laughs, actually install a KNOWN WORKING power supply.

Are you printing out W/U 'sets' and failures? If so, does the 'set' show?

Where are the W/U's coming from? ML, VM, or?

Test the wakeup announcer (RAD). If it's in DND, or busied out, the system will not attempt to place the wakeup call.

Thanks guys. The wake-up is coming from the ML and they have removed all of their call accounting system which meant that their printer went with it. I'll hook up something to see what prints. (good lead!) They do not have a RAD at this time (but that's not to say that there was not one there in the past.) I'll check their programming to see just what the original installation looked like.

Once again, thanks! This should get me back on the road.
