I just started at a new company and they have a Mitel 3300 ICP. I am trying to set up a new extension, but cannot find where programmed extension are listed. Right now I am typing extensions in edit extension and if it doesn't find it then I know it is available - there has to be an easier way! I have never worked on this type of system before so any feedback would be appreciated.

Well I found a report that shows all the extensions that have been programmed - Telephones Programmed. I have spent the past couple work days trying to find this info out....looks like I have quite a bit of learning ahead of me. If there are any tips or tricks that you want to send my way for easy and simple M/A/Cs I would definately welcome them!
Thanks all!

If you're going to be administering a Mitel on a regualr basis, the best way to avoid the Gotchas is to get Mitel trained. You can do this as an end-user through Mitel, or I believe that 55'er offers Mitel training.

Training also used to be available from a company in Memphis, but they are now defunct.

Thanks - we do have a phone vendor that can do most of what is necessary here, I just like to have some knowledge so I don't have to call someone for every little thing. I will look into some training.
