WE have a CD changer hooked up to the phone system so we can have background music. It doesnt seem to play anymore and when it did it was very soft. There are no volume controls on the CD changer. How can i fix this? I have found the documentation on how to work with localised background music, like having something hooked up to a receptionists phone, but i need to work with the music being hooked up to the main system.
i hope i make sense, thanks.

First you should attach with a matching transformer. I regular CD player can go right in but something with a fixed line output should be hooked up with a matching transformer. But to answer your question, there are 2 pots on the CPRU one is for MOH amd one is for BGM. You really should invest in a manual.

Bill is absolutely right. I have seen so many MOH without matching transformers that "work but...". Even if it sounds good initially without the MT there always seems to be probs with volume, ugly sound etc. in the future. They are not all that expensive either and will solve many problems before you throw out the cd player etc.
