Anyone can help? One of my customers has an Onyx VS. I need to know how to take 2 lines out of the line pools in the system. Do i require some software for this? Also, if I take these lines phyically out of the system, will the lines still register in the system? I am looking to run these lines to a dedicated jack and have fully removed from the system. Thanks in advance

You can take the two lines off the system and then you will need to do some programming to take them out of the groups and also take them out of the RA assignments. You can program the VS by phone.

Depending on how much you know about Onyx VS programming will determine what information you need. In Order to remove lines from line groups you will need to access program 11 from a display keyset at ext 300. Enter the group number that the lines you want to remove are assigned in. If you are using single digit access (9) enter group 90. If you use 2 digit access you will need to enter group 90-98. Then press #. Lines will display one by one. If the line that is displayed should remain in the group press #. If the displayed line should be removed press * to remove it then press # to move to the next entry. Press 'save' twice to exit programming. If the lines are physically removed from the system you will not need to bother removing the RA programming in program 18.
