Do Tie and Nitsuko use the same priporatory digital signal for their phones.
In other words, are the Nitsuko phone system backward compatible with Tie phones?
Thanks.

Sonic: My guess is no---but plug them in and see what happens. From a logical standpoint, though, the 89050 phones (and the other model phones that you have) are all DataStar phones, and looking to be supported by a DataStar system & the appropriate system cards--e.g. a 89039 CPU (V. 7.0) & a 89022 16SCU-B Station card and a 89010 Trunk card. Those are all supported by the DataStar backplane and the cabinet and the correct power supply. If those phones work on anything else than those support items, then please let this board know, because if would fly in the face of most of the experience that I have, for sure. But you never know. Good Luck.
