Hi, We have a 124i Nitsuko. A user all of a sudden noticed that her voicemails were being emulated through her phone. In my manual I see the instructions for canceling A.M.E. as: 1. Press Call1 + *2 Then it says "To Cancel, dial 0 and skip to step three" which is hangup.
This does not work. PLEASE HELP!!!!!! John

I've also tried this and find it to not work. Does anyone have a solution or workaround?

I am having the exact same problem. The user doesn't recieve many voicemails, so she just noticed it a few days ago.
I tried tmorin's instructions, and I do hear three beeps/tones.
If I call the extension, and go sit at that phone, when the voicemail picks up, and hence the answering machine emulation, the display shows "A.M.E." in the left side.
Also, I can't seem to re-create this situation on another phone.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Nick
