The system is a Tie Onyx IV with 2 cabinets.

Extension 306 rings on incoming calls, but according to programming it shouldn't.

I have gone into programming and checked that all lines show L for Ring type.

Is there something I am missing here?

Thanks

No reply yet? I could really use some help with this. I'm usually pretty good at figuring this stuff out, but the manual is less than usefull in this regard.

I've gone to ED in programming, checked 306, and all lines show LLLL LLLL, so why is the damn thing ringing every time someone calls any of the lines?

Thanks in advance for ANY assistance at all, even if it's just a page in the manual or something, please give me some direction... I'm on one knee here. wink

Is it in a ring group?

Check KS programming to see if there is a ringing or a delayed ringing call coverage key. Also check program HD to see if there is another extension forwarded to 306 that may have ringing programmed.

mundo22 - you got it right! There was a call coverage key programmed on that set.

Thanks a million!
