Hi all, I am trying to identify what type of phone system i have been tasked with managing - I'm new to this and have been asked to condsider replacing it , but inorder to do this i wan tto evaluate what it is i have
From the side panel is a label as follows Nitsuko DX.p2470m.vi 617/7/09207/000 and just beneath that is wat looks like a power unit.
DX.p12p.VI 605/7/08829/000
Are there any manuals or tech dos available on this .
The system itself has phone stations with the following label dx.p4 txd tel(w)
I think there are about 10(pstn)lines terminated in this unit, i would like to know how to find this out either by physically iinspectin the cabling or by some other method.
The system is very limited and does not have voicemail or DID , there are 3 types of hold music (greensleeves etc) and it has an intercom and Door unit.
I have tried googling the net for documentation but i've got a feeling this one is from before the internet took off.
Any Help greatly appreciated. Best regards Bertie C

So far, I'm drawing a blank. the only number that means anything to me is the 08829---because 88*** would be a model number from an Onyx (that's what it's called here, anyway)---but the European model numbers may be completely different than any numbers that I would have.
What does the KSU look like?? Plastic?? Blue? Black? Are the phones mainly white with black keys? Give a bit of a decription there, Irish.

Nitsuko did have a version of the NEC Epro Level1. I only dealt with one of them and I have no information on any part numbers. Programming was the same as the Level1, but the phones were not interchangeable. Try this Google image search and see if the KSU looks similar. https://images.google.ca/images?hl=...ectra%20professional&sa=N&tab=wi

If you have a chance a picture of the system might help us identify it. From what I've found the 1st part# is for a Nitsuko DXE main box 1240/2470 DX-P2470M-V1 The second part# is for a Nistuko DXE psu 2470 DX-P24P-V1 Looks like the systems were mainly distributed by a company called Telecom Midlands, here's a link to their Nitsuko DXE site: https://www.telecommidlands.co.uk/bps.html
