I have a small Nitsuko Vs system installed at my SOHO. I have just purchased a Nitsuko OPX for this system and got it installed. I can use any digital set on this extension with no problems. After removing the digital set and replacing it with the OPX, I get nothing. A toner verifies that there is System battery there, however, I cannot pull dialtone from the system with my butt-set. If I call the station, I get RNA at calling parties side, and nothing at all on the called party side. I don't even see ring current with my toner. I have checked the system programming for that extension, as well as the COS and am not sure what the heck I am missing.

that depends whether it is one or two port , the single port uses a single digital port

the two port require two digital ports

also want to add these weren't terribly robust so a used unit may be DOA

I set the OPX to Circuit type 51, however, this does not fix the problem. Also, this is a two port OPX, but there are only 4 conductor line cords for this unit. How does it use two ports? The station side of the OPX is only able to accept one line cord, which is 4 conductors, Since this is a two pair switch, how would I connect this to two ports?

You just jumper 2 digital ports together and then to a 4 cond jack. Both digital ports have to be programmed 51. You will need to reset after programming. I think I remember you have to use a odd numbered port for the fisrt connection.

I have a NVM 202EX. What is the easiest way to change a name in the directory from an old employee to a new employee. Can I do this from a telephone?
