I have a ICS Norstar phone system. I want to know if I can pull out the 4x0 trunk cards I have and replace them with the 4x0CLID cards without having to call a tech. to do it. Is there any programing or wiring that needs to be done or is it just remove and replace?

Thanks
Joe

Changing out the trunk cartridges is no problem...power down, remove old cartridges, install new cartridges. The system will recognize the new cartridges as CLID when you power up.Each set must be programmed to receive caller i.d. information.name or number first, and whether you want the set to log calls or not.
