This one has me puzzled???? Nortel 61C PBX w/Meridian Mail and 2616 w/Display Phones.
I have a phone that will not light the message light or flash indicator arrow when a message is left. There are no other appearances of this DN on any other phone and message indicator in voice mail is set to Prime DN. This is an ACD phone.
Key 0 ACD
Key 1 Prime DN 839
Key 2 Secondary DN 439
Key 14 Message waiting
I have rebuilt the phone and Voice mailbox and have had no luck.

The reason it doesn't work is because an ACD phone is not allowed to have message light feature.

Fixtel - I know this will work because I have 50+ other 2616 phones that are ACD and their Message Waiting lights work. So I know it works. I have this phone built exactly the same way.
