I have reviewed the docs and got nowhere. Want I am hoping that someone here can tell me is how to configure services. I have 1 line that I want to ring only From 8:00am Monday thru Friday at 5:00pm. I want the system to switch this service on and off autmaticlly for me. can someone offer up some help?

Are you trying to set up Auto Attendent Timers. I have a cheet sheet. I could scan in and email to you. [email protected]
If all else fails, use a BFH.

Not yet. Right now I am looking to stop certain lines from ringing after hours and on weekends.

You did not say which system was in question. From the services phrase I presume it to be an 0x32!

cbltec, you said that you had all the docs so I refer you to page 28,29,36 of the programming record mics4.1. Earlier or later versions are about the same. We are looking for Services/ringing service and common settings pages. This scenario is used. 0x32/2 trunk carts Lines1-4 and 25-28. sets 221-229. Set 229 will be shut from ring for line 28 from 1700-0800 daily. build 2 ring groups. grp1 221-228 grp2 229 sched1 or night line 1-27 grp1 line28 grp2 sched2 or eveng line 1-27 grp1. control set all lines 221 can be changed. sched1 or night, you can rename it monday start 0800 stop 1700. Do each day this way. zero out sat/sun. sched2 or evening, you can rename it monday start 1700 stop 0800. Do each day this way. zero out sat/sun Make sure the sys clock is right! Change sched1 and 2 to auto. I would prefer manual and program a button for services. You have to remember that your ringing pattern will change. If you have a complicated day ring and you still want that for night then more ring groups will have to be built. That's why the programming record is so important. The installer man is pretty vague but does offer some good tips. If you do not have the programming record, em your fax# and I'll send you a copy of the pages. I probably missed something here but the programming pages will guide you through what you need and your customer desires.
