Have a Norstar 616, Valcom v-9924a CO Audible Ring Unit, and Valcom One Zone Page Unit. It was hooked up and working at customer site for paging and ringing off Norstar system. I do not know alot about the older Norstar systems. Any help would be great.
Thanks, Jeff

Not sure how to hookup ringer adapter to Norstar. Got the paging to work, but not the ringer. Calling Valcom latter to get help onsite.
Thanks, Jeff j.

Thei ring adapter is most likely a contact closure probly hooked to the contact closure of the nortel unit using Aux ring to close the contact Pinout: 47 Violet-Orange External Paging 22 Orange-VIolet (audio signal) 46 Vilet-Green N/O External Paging 23 Green-Violet Common (relay contact) 49 Violet-Brown N/O Auxiliity Ringer 24 Brown-Violet Common (relay contact)

Turned out that the paging adapter was bad, and the ringing adapter would not except ring control leads from Norstar. I hooked up paging from system to ring adapter and then there main CO line to ring adapter (it could use 105 volts 0r 18 volts).
Worked Great, and Valcom was easy to work with on the phone.
