I am trying to get a co line that appears on M7208 phone to go to voice mail under a no answer condition. I have the phone fwd no answer and fwd busy and calls transfered from console follow forward conditions, but when the co line rings at telephone it goes to voice mail general greeting instead of the personal mail box for that phone. Pelase help

I'm having the opposite problem: 3 CO Lines (POTS), (apparantly) randomly ring directly to ext. 113's VM (MB 213). I thought the settings for ext. 113 were correct; is there something in CO programming that I'm missing? Any help would be appreciated.

on the first question: you need to set the VM to NOT answer that line. F983, select AA then Lines then NO for that line. Test it out.
on the second question, program the AA to answer faster than the CFNA rings on the telephone set. Again F983, select AA,Lines and then rings, then decrease the rings for AA (or increase the c/f timer in the CICS).
any lines that ring on a phone will follow the phones call forwarding unless the autoattendant grabs the call first.
this is a flaw in the norstar in my opinion, but still a good system.
