I'm trying to get a 5.0 Mics with a T1- PRI, to call out for off premise notification and outbound transfer. My problem is it only gives me the option to call out on a line or a line pool. How would I get it to call out on the T1 (Megalink)?

What is the trunk group access code that was programmed for the T1 trunks?

Externally Call Forward a Phone:

Note: You must have at least 4.1 software to execute this feature.
Build a Route:
Services - Show
Ringing Service - Next to
Routing Service - Show
Routes - Show
Show Route: 001 - Show
Dialout: No Number - Leave alone - Next
Use: ( ) - Change to Pool you want it to use. (Pool A)
DN Type: Public
Build a Destination Code:
Routing Service - Show
Routes - Next
Dest Codes - Show
Show destcode: - Add
DstCode: (enter code) - OK
Normal: 000 - Change to route built - Show
AbsorbLength: ALL
Don't have to worry about Night schedule etc.
Make sure the phone has Allow Redirect set to Yes and that you've allowed it access to the line pool you're using.
Then simply walk up to the phone and press Call Forward Button or Feature 4 Dial the destination code + phone number.
All calls that ring on the phone will be forwarded! All calls, including IC calls. So if you want one particular line to be forwarded but not others, simply program ONLY that line to appear & ring on the set.
Note: If you have a PRI then you are already using a route and destination code to get out to begin with so you can just use the same code to do the external call forwarding.
If you want the CF to be on a No Answer condition, program the cell number including the destination code in the CFNA heading of Capabilities for the station you want to forward. That way you will get the forward after a specified # of rings...

Outbound Transfer From NAM (Dial 7 Option)

Feature 983, "enter password" ok
MBOX
CHNG
Mbox: 223 for example
NEXT until you see
Outdial: None
Press CHNG
Select Line or Pool (how you want them to go out)
If you select Pool the screen will show
Pool: (enter 1 for pool A, 2 for pool B etc.)
Accept: 1.. press ok
Just log into the mailbox. When it comes up and tells you how many messages are in the box, press 8 then 8 to configure the outbound transfer. Press admin, enter the destination phone number, and press ok. Screen will say Transfer: off, press change to turn it on.

Good Luck!!

If all else fails, use a BFH.

It is the Outbound transfer (Dial 7 Option) I need to work. There are no analog lines in Pool A or B, because it is a T1 with 23 channels.I need to Outdial from the PRI-A, but that option is not there(only line or Pool A,B,C etc) and when I try the regular Line pool"A",it does not work.
Any help would be appreciated...Mike

Can you assign the PRI to other groups such as A, B, C? I know you can with a normal T1, not sure about a PRI.
