have an mics, i have one extension that i want to restrict from making long distance calls...and another that is restricted that i need to allow for long distance...where do i go in the programming to do this? thanks

If you do not know programming. Just flip-flop the 2 extensions at the MDF. You can really cause more damage if you do not understand how to program.
If all else fails, use a BFH.

He is telling you where in programming to go, under "set filters" as in telephone set! Do as JJ suggested or hire someone. It should take a knowledgeable tech about 30 seconds to do what you want. Use the remainder of the hour for training in administrator level programming! It will be money well spent.
