Just installed a new system. Seems like all the speaker phones are dropping a lot of the conversation. What could be the problem? I Noticed it when I was checking out the Callpilot responses. Now the Customer is reporting drop outs when using speaker phone. Any Ideas?
Thanks

I do not know the Norstars well, so I am not certain if this is part of the problem or not... Most speakerphones are "half-duplex" meaning that they can only send voice in one direction at a time. Think of a walkie-talkie and the talk button. If there is a lot of background noise or a person starts speaking, it will cut off the incoming voice signal. Not knowing if the Norstars are half or full duplex, I am not certain if this is part of the issue or not. But once a customer starts questioning a phone system, they will often find things like this and think that is something wrong. ------------------ Intertel Telephone Repair Toshiba Telephone Repair
