Go to "Sets & Terminals" in programming, find the extension and turn on at least one intercom button under "Line Access." If you don't know the DN or can't figure it out, trace the phone back to it's port on the KSU and go to "Maintenance" in programming then "Port/DN Status" to match the port to a DN.

feature *0 may tell you the dn number (although never tried it on a set without at least 1 intercom button. the 7101 sets will show it automatically)

I had checked programming on that extension, it has 1 intercom button access, I even programmed it to have two just to see if I could get it to work. Feature *0 shows that it is a blank key and when I reset the cabinet feature *0 shows it to be a zone page button. This is an old unit, the software cartridge has 1988 as the year of manufacture. I have entered the config mode to do all my programming, but I do not see a maintenance section on this unit. I do know what dn that it should be, dn 23. Thanks for your time on this, I'll let you give it some thought, maybe I'll have to reset the software and start from scratch.
