I'm trying to figure out what system a new customer has. They're unsure other than the phone is a Norstar M7208. Can we pull up this system and software level from any phone? Or do I have them read the model off the KSU. I'd go to the site but they're 90 miles away. Also, is there a programming manual for this system in the "manuals" section of this website?
Thanks in advance.

Have them do a Feature *89 and see what they get then post back with the info, The manuals are there but you really need to know what system you are dealing with.

Feature *89? That's a pre-programmed release feature for auto dial numbers. What you'll need to do is go into programming and go to Maintenance>System Version and you'll get the software version in the form of a code, that code will need to be translated.

Isn't *89 for Programmed Release? Hey I've been wrong before. I'm assuming that they don't know how to enter in the config to look at the system version.
