I just got a new customer who inherited an older Mics with T1(the original) software, and a 4- port copper Nam. I wiped out the info on the voicemail, and performed a startup on the Mics. Now I can not get anywhere with F983. "Password invalid".I was able to get into F983 b4 I initialized the system.Tried the F985...9 thing,to rest the password and no go. I also tried F983...xxxxxx. Need help on this one guys...Mike

You said that you get "password invalid"? If you are getting this on a feature 983 than your NAM has defaulted and you will need to use the initial default password to reconfigure the nam.

Sorry I just reread your post. Here is something to try. If none of your feature codes are responding try F**xftest. But first unplug power from the nam, then test all feature codes when they show inactive then remove them. When all are removed plug the nam back in.and it will reassign the codes again. Feature xftest will also show you if it has assigned the upper codes to the nam.

Xftest is ok. F9*1 is ok. F983...invalid password. I am working with 2 digets. Reboot...reboot...reboot.Bottom line is I can not get into F983. Did the F985 "9" to reset password many times. The Atdt.in f982 is stuck at 2 digits. TOTAL FRUSTRATION...Mike

What do you mean the F982 is stuck at 2 digits it is default at "xxxxxxxx" or can be changed to between 4 and 8 digits
