We currently have a Norstar system with Star Talk flash in a 2 company setup using 2 separate tables, not knowing a thing about programming I'm trying to replace the company message on table 1, table 2 is fine. I've made the table 1 recording and can play it back, the problem is I can't get Star Talk to use the newly recorded table 1 message when you call in it resorts to the old message. Am I missing something because I've tried everything and nothings made any difference yet.

What greeting number did you record? The recordings are done as greetings, then the greetings are assigned to the table. Also are you using a CCR Tree?

The order of greetings played on a Startalk is Greetings (1-4 etc.) then customized AA prompt or greetings (1-4 etc.) then CCR home menu. It sounds like you've changed the AA prompt or CCR home recording but one of the old greetings is still playing first.

Hope that helps
Chris

Check to see if it's the aa that you've recorded or the greeting. greeting 1 may have been used for table 1. Play this greeting to see if it's the one you want to change. If not the find in table 1 which CCR tree is enabled, go to that tree in the ccr admin and under path select 0 play to see if this is the greeting. if it is you'll have to disable it in the greeting table to save.
