I have a client with five remote offices that they want to be able to transfer calls and have four digit dialing to remote extensions. Would I need the BCM at all locations or the VOIP gateway?

Depends on how much functionality they want - if it's just pure 4 digit dialing, transfers, etc, then the Norstar VOIP gateway + MICS/CICS is OK. If they want/would like name display across the network, centralized voicemail/auto attendant, VPIM mail networking, least cost routing, etc, then the BCM is the way to go.

You can do this with MICS's only....One way is by having point to point T1's installed.

THe BCM and the MICS ox32 are identical however the BCM is computer based and has all the apps built-in to the system.
