What kind of cable would I need to relocate the console 20 ft away from the phone system? Is it a standard serial cable? Is there any special pin out I should be aware of.

If it is a 2250 console you will need a standard 25 pair female amphenol cable.

Keep in mind for an Option-11 console, it uses a 25 pair cable. Out of that it is really only using 3 pairs and 5 ports. Two two pairs are for the DN and then uses three other ports for power. I just hooked up a console using the 25 pair cable from the console over to a 66-block. Then jumpered from there to a standard 4-pair jack. If you keep all the wiring straight you don't have to run 25-pair cable all the way back. Just use normal 4-pair cable.
If CON is the opposite of PRO Then what is the opposite of Progress?
