Hello all,
I have a bunch of m2008's aries1 that have been refurbed. The problem is that none of the displays are working although when I plug an aries2 in the same port it works no problem. I've tried a few things, like using a power supply in the port to see if it would power the diplay. They came back with a 16 to 14 pin conversion card for the display so I tried a 16 pin display still no luck. There is a large daughterboard that I removed and used bridge clips on pins 6a/6b and 7a/7b to see if that would do the trick but to no avail. The Option 11 sees the phones as having a display but there just not getting power. Sorry for being so long winded but I'm at my wits end with this.
Any thoughts as always would be greatly appreciated.
John

I think the 1st ones took an external power supply & you do need the power board back in them.

JimmyT, you were absolutely right. And to answer my own question, the power supply that made the display work was a
Sino-American

P/N AO367335. JimmyT thanks again, I really appreciate your quick response. Damn, this forum rocks.
