Maybe someone can help me out.I have a RAD I am attempting to install. When I hit F** my screen goes blank for about 5 seconds and then the time and date comes back up.I have opened up the RAD and shorted the cap for over a minute (5 Times)and still get the same thing. It never asks me to enter the psw or set one up.It will let me do a F** RADMIN but there is not anywhere I can set up a psw.I have attempted to gain access with the NRU software but it says RAD rejected psw.Any info would be a great help. The system is MICS W/6.1 and a T-1 card (DTI)

I know it's a dumb question, but, are you using an old RAD? They are the only one that responds to RADMIN that I know of. They will not work with Remote Utilities. Make sure you are using a fast rad.

That is the older RAD not the FastRAD. I have used NRU with them and we have one connected to a MICS w. 6.1 software at a customer site.
I'll see if I can dig up the directions for inputing the password. Unless someone else knows off the top of there head...

You are using a M7310 or M7324 or a T7316, correct? From the directions I have, it looks like you're doing everything correctly. Try pressing the left softkey after F9**RADMIN.
