what is the "NAM " about norstar?

The NAM (Norstar Applications Module) is an OS/2 server. Its purpose is to run various telephony applications on the Norstar, such as Voice Mail, Unified Messaging, ACD, Dial-by-Name etc. The NAM was manufacturer discontinued last summer. And, the 150 is now the closest thing to the NAM. CallPilot covers a good 90% of the NAMs installed. The biggest issue is that CallPilot 150 supports a max of 8 channels.
