I have a customer who wants to use a cordless with his 616. He has 3 or 4 lines (can't remember). Will the 7406 work with this system? Can anyone recommend something else? He wants to keep it on the cheap.

The 7406 wont work I'm pretty sure.The only hope would be a standard analog cordless with an ATA.What level is the S'ware?DR5?Somebody chime in if im wrong.

The T7406 will work only if the customer has DR5 in the 616, that's what it say in my compatibility matrix.

I'm not sure what he's running as I have not been out there yet, but I have a DR5 Cartridge I can plug in. That being the case, it should work then?

If customer wants to keep it cheap, then how about using an ATA with an off the shelf cordless phone.

Would have been a good idea, however he wants to have multiple line access.

I works fine with older software. I have a 6 X 16 in my house and the 7406 is working good. I think my software is release 1.
