The T7208 replaced the M7208 so, I'm not exactly sure if we're talking about the same phone. You can get the plastic covers from https://www.overtechinc.com or from https://www.americanposter.net/nt.htm I can't beleive Tech Data would sell phones with out the overlays. (I didn't know they sold phones.) You should take the opportunity to gently lecture the customer about buying phones from you and not someone else. You obviously care, Tech Data doesn't. ------------------ North Florida Communications

Hello everyone, Long time reader. First time poster. Nice forum you guys have.
I am wondering about the plastic covers for 7316's that overtechinc.com sells.
I have bought replacement covers from my supplier, and I have seen them on refurbed phones. I don’t know who makes them, but they are always about 1-2 mm to big, and they tend to bow out of the phone, making it even easier for them to fall out. The ones I am familiar with are also a shade lighter than the factory Nortel covers.
So, I wonder if nfcphoneman, or any of you other guys have used the ones made by overtechinc, and if they suffer from the same problem, or if they work as well as the ones that come from Nortel on the phones from the factory.
Basically I am looking for a source for well made Nortel Desi covers that fit correctly. The color being slightly lighter is no big deal.

I hope you did it via phone. I was about to place an order myself and I noticed it was an un-secured website (no https.) Every hop along the way could have viewed my credit card info.
I would still like to hear from anyone who has experience with the fit of these.

I have not used the ones from overtech. I have bought various plastic covers from American Poster but no for the T-series. The ones I have used fit well.

I finally tracked down the manufacturer of the plastic Desi's I was referring to, and they were in fact, made by Overtech. Since I did not really like those, I ordered some from American poster to try out.
