I have a Norstar 824 with a Flash 2 voicemail. Almost every morning the attendant has to clear out 10 to 20 messages from the telco operator that say 'If you would like to make a call etc etc'.I am assuming the voicemail is holding up the call after the caller hangs up but cant prove it. Any ideas? This attendant is getting a little stressed about this. Any help would be appreciated...

Need to know a little more about the 824. Are they POTS lines and does the 824 have DS software?

You also might be real close to a co, or a pop. and if this is true, set the co lines to short co also. hope this helps!

You also might try to either swap ds cards, or ci, or replace co cards with your Maintenance one, and try it

well, ya see, I have been with these systems for many many years. and have run across silly issues like this before. so In short I am sharing this with you, due to, sometimes we have all and still sometimes do, look to deep into something instead of trying the obvious things. have also been here a few times and resolved these same troubles by starting simple then work my way to the components. Hope this helps. This is not a matter of who knows the most, But its all about starting at point a and ending up at point B. with a resolution. Peace out!

Sinca also has already been mentioned to set supervise to yes, I did not see a need to go there.lol. It may also be a bad port card in the Flash, easy enough to change ,I would be curious to know what resolved this for you Phone Dude.

Thanks to all of you for answering, still have issues. The ksu has Disconnect supervision. Dont remember there being any option for setting disconnect supervision either y or n. These folks are a long ways from the CO. I am going back out there tomorrow afternoon and check out some of your suggestions. Any others? This site is about 2 hours away so I dont get out there alot. Thanks again..
