I don't think so. I think you have to have a call pilot. I don't have any compatiblilty charts for 7.0 but I know for 4.1 software you at least have to have startalk 2.1

Barb is correct. It will probably connect. In fact I am almost sure it will but you will run into issues with users not getting messages properly and other weird things happening.

the last compatible mics for a flash 1.9 is 4.1.
7.0 is CP 3.0 or NAM 4.1 only

telemarv, there is no upgrade software to make the flash work on a CICS?
I'm not saying you are wrong, but this seems very odd that no upgrade is available for customers.
I know I had a flash working at home with 6 or 6.1 on the ksu and an upgrade on the flash had me working just fine. C-point has a CICS maybe that requires a lower upgrade than a MICS?

Bunnie, that flash would have to have been software rev of 2.1. C-point was asking about a 1.9 and 7.0.
Nortel has not made a flash upgrade to run on 7.0 and has no intention of doing so. I've not tried a flash 2.1 on a 7.0, it may work but its not supported... what ever that means.
CICS or MICS makes no difference

According to Nortel matrix, the flash 2.0 is compatible with Mics/CICS 7.0. However I will not recommend it at all I will suggest like telemarv mentioned above call pilot 3.0.

Besides you can get a 4 port CP100 for around the same cost as a used 2 port flash.

samh, where are you getting a 7.0 matrix? I can't find it anywhere on Nortel's site. Would love a copy of it if you have it.
Thanks, Dan
