Here is the scenario the customer has lines 1 through 11 analog lines on line pool B and the t1 lines are on line pool A and when the customer dials out they press the intercom button and 9 This allows them to dial out on the T1
when the customer dials out they want local and 800 numbers to automatically route from the t1 and call out on one of the analog lines.
How can I make this happen ?

You'll need to set up routes & destination codes.

I have done that the problem is the customer uses 9 to dial out and as soon as they dial 9 on the keypad the system seems to be committed to using the t1

You'll have to remove pool access codes and set up routing that looks for 91800, 81877, 91866, 91877, 92, 93, 94, 95, 96, 97, 98, 99 and route those calls to pool B. All others 913, 914, 915, 916, 917, 918, 919 to route to pool A.

I understand perfectly. I'm just wondering why you started out at 913 instead of 912 for the pool A string.
I was also going to add 911 absorb digit 0
for the Rte 002 which equals Pool B
what do you think?
would it be okay to use Rte 000 since
that defaults with pool A which equals the T1.
Yes the customer has old software so I have to
write everything in one by one otherwise I would have used the Any soft key
One of the problems I was having was external codes that were causing conflict I have to get rid of those I guess to add the routes

My ommision was an oversite... you will have to provide routes for 911, 912 as well. Also 918xx that are not toll free. And 90xx operator calls as well.

Yes it as has to be keyed manually.

I was out on the jobsite today and I tried writing everything in when I put destination code
91888 rout 002 POOL A that went okay but when I tryed to write in long distance 918 route 001 POOL A it wouldn't accept the 8 there was a conflict
Then I tried writing 918 first and then 91888 and it still wouldn't go The software is 2.0
any ideas besides upgrading the software
or writing dial 9 POOL A and dial 8 POOL B
and telling the customer for local dial 8 for long distance dial 9

No...keying everything in will work. You just don't have any wildcards to work with, so you have to key EVERYTHING in.

(This is the kind of stuff I usually make good money on! laugh )

The title of your post is "Routing on a MICS 5.0", but then you mention that you have 2.0. Which is it, 5.0 or 2.0? I guess in the end it doesn't really matter but I thought I'd ask.
