OK, I feel really stupid, but I have a customer who has 2 CAPS on 1 phone with one SAP. The CAP that is plugged into the wall jack comes up and the phone comes up but the center CAP will not come up.
Here is where the dumb question comes in. How do I get the center CAP to be acknowledged? I have done this before but a long time ago and cant remember or find the documentation.
TIA Barb

Back to basics first.... I assume that the SAP power is coming out of the jack. It sounds like you have the proper cable to the first CAP. But do you have the first CAP plugged into the second CAP with a 6 wire line cord? Then you have the phone plugged into the middle CAP. That would be my first thoughts is you are not getting the voltage over to the middle CAP or that you have the wrong polarity to the middle CAP.

NT, Thanks for the reply. I forgot that I had to have power to 4 pins of the jack to run 2 CAPS. Power was getting to the end cap but had no power on the second.....Had the 6wire line cord but only had jack wired on bk/y for power. Needed to be on bl/w also.
Like I said, I have done these many times but it has been several years since I had to put one in. Just had to get back to basics.
Thanks. Barb

You can loop the power on the jack from 1 and 6 to 2 and 5. I usually use a bigger power supply and not the NT ones.
