With a mics 7.0, what other options are there in regards to voice mail. Is the cp150 the only choice? It seems odd that if you had a fully loaded systems w/ 3 incomming pri's that an 8 port voice mail is the only thing to offer.

That's all Nortel offers. We use Voicegate products to exceed the Nortel offerings.

Does the voicegate integrate as seamless as the CP? What is the interface analog/digital? If digital does the display on the system phones give feed back, such as number of messages, calling party number, etc…

I never really understood the logic of this move by Nortel. When a product is discontinued (the NAM) why would you "replace" it with a unit of half the capacity??? ![[Linked Image from imagehost.biz]](https://imagehost.biz/ims/pictes/209050.gif)

Check www.voicegate.com. Inquire from their website and they'll send a load of CDs showing their products. Tons of Nortel apps.

Wonder if Nortel wants you to go to the BCM or a PBX, if you need more than 8 ports for a voicemail?

Voice Gate intergrates as a digital port and is easy to program. The only thing I don't like is the ladys voice. They have a good tech support and is free for the first year. Dan S

There is a definite push to BCM.

But, that's a pretty poor solution with the reduced total capacity of the current BCM models (compared to MICS XC 7.0). Thanks RBF and dans for the Voicegate info!!! That is good to know! :thumb:
