the manual I have is for the Modular system and it tells me to put the moh on the yellow/orange orange/yellow and that didnt then I was told by another tech to use the violet/green green violet and that didnt work. So I tried all pairs from violet/slate to yellow blue. The progaming I changed in programing was in featr settings backgound music and hold music. I am at a lost for what to do next. your help is apperciated

The CICS moh would be violet/green green/violet.
Also check your sorce at the pair your punching down.
Use cross connect to the block and then splice to your sorce cable.

You are connecting v/g & g/v using the Trunk Cable correct.

Use your butt set or tone probe and make sure you are getting music on your wires. Then punch them down like MrGemini & JimmyT says, on the Vio/Green pairs - On the TRUNK cable. Then using Feature code 86, turn the volume up on the phone and listen for music. If not loud or missing try switching polarity, or turn the volume up a little more on the music source.

From a former MOH guy....sounds silly but...

Make sure you're using punch down wire and not the stranded wire that connects to the MOH device...
