After enabling Caller ID for each extension and verififying that caller ID is being sent I still don't receive caller Id on incomming calls. Any thoughts?

Do you have to have separate cards for the MICS for caller ID or are they built in the co card.

I enabled Caller ID in the set programming, is there a location to do so on each co line?

Thanks for you help.

On the front of the KSU of a CIC's or inside the cabinet of the mic's, if you look at the Line cards, you will see DS, or CI. You must have a CI card for that to work. And how did you verify if the caller ID was coming from the Telco for sure? I have had the telco tell me more than once, yes it is programmed, bring down a CI analog set and do a test and bubkiss, noda, nothing.

Two girls later and I'm back.....lol...been gone a while but see same faces still here. Lol

I used a test set and heard class after the first ring. Although not the best way to test.

Is there somewhere in trunk programming I'm missing for caller ID. I will check the cards to make sure that they are CI's not DS's.

Thanks for all the help!

I have found that they are DS Cards, what do I need to upgrade them to use CLASS?

You need to install CI cards instead of DS cards!

The older CI cards stuck out farther than a DS card, the newer CID cards are the same depth, just so you know what you have.

The older 8x24 and 616 cabinets used a separate box for CID, but the CICS and MICS MUST have a 4x0 Caller ID card, not a DS card.

I have one new one in the box I want to move, but only one, not two.
