Old version. All features say inactive feature when we try to call voice mail. Was working fine until recently.
Is this v.m. shot?

The 1st thing I would look at is the power supply and hydro. Just to make sure that was working. Try an other power supply but other that that I think I would be looking for a new one.

you may want to try and reboot the voice mail buy upluging is count to 10 then plug back in. It may take a while for the voice mail to start back up up to 15 to 20 min. some times. you may want to try this first.

If kbarry's suggestion doesn't work, you may want to power down both the phone switch and the voicemail and power both back up. You'll know if the voicemail initialized properly because it will play a series of acsending tones.
Beer, sure I'll try one

Tronic, I have only ever head tones come from a NAM?? As for the above there are multiple posts on flashes have power failures or surges defaulting them. If feature 983 does nothing, try 903.
Two girls later and I'm back.....lol...been gone a while but see same faces still here. Lol

Check power supply first.
Try a re-power, give it time, don't rush.
If still nothing, hard drive probably crapped out. You can buy replacement preprogrammed hard drives for them, but probably better off with a CallPilot if the software version on the KSU allows it.
