In the past when I installed Phone system, I would use POTS lines. Now I have a company wanting PRI's. In my readings on PRI's, what is the best way to do Line Appearance for the phones. They are upgrading to PRI's and would like to have a line appearance similar to line 1 line 2 line 3 and so on. Thanks for your help

Welcome to the board CountyTech, I would suggest reading up on setting up SWCA's(System Wide Call Appearance) in the installers guide. That is the only way I have found to make a PRI react like regular POTs lines.

Not much on SWCA's in the manual. I have 5 departments and they have there own phone numbers and they do not want to change the way it is setup to the extension.

To have appearance on PRI you must Set the target line for the DID to appear on the set. You can also set the number of appearance you would like for that particular target line.
